In less than a day, I've managed to evolve my Chinchou into Lanturn and Spearow into Fearow... I like the system with posts to level up, but shouldn't the amount be a -bit- higher? Or, some Pokemon need more than one Pokepoint to evolve? It's easier to evolve a Caterpie than a Dragonair, after all...
I just think the system might need some revising. Opinions? Maybe we can all come up with a different idea? I mean, it works now, but people can post like, 40 times in a day if they want to. They could evolve a Bagon into Salamence in a day... Which just strikes me as unrealistic.

I'm not gonna lie - as much as I love the idea of me having my Flygon that I wanted in a matter of a few posts from now, it /does/ seem highly imbalanced. Perhaps the system of 20 posts for 2 evolutions works in more of a RPG system, with just you and a mod role playing. However, here, its so open ended, the number of posts probably should be increased.

Well.....
Our brother site (PM) has higher numbers, but this site is small, so the numbers are small too. I mean, only 5 members and you need 250 posts? (Like pokemon masters) Impossibility unless you were staff. Yes, I think we may need a differnt system, I agree Roku.
Well....
Strolling away from the way the brother site works, we could have EXP, and like.. Hmm example time.
Well....
KHKLHA evolves to LNAOL at level 16. KHKLHA has a long fight with a Sableye, and a admin comes by at the end to say, "KHKLHA gains 9 levels during the fight" before the battle is sent to Archives. Then int he storage KHKLHA's info would include this:
Experience to next evolve: 9(total amount of levels gained from gains, reset every evolve)/16(Amount needed to evolve)
Then when its evo needs a stone, then it could be.
Experience needed toevolve: 000/Fire Stone

Okay. First Roku, Dono, you need 100 posts to get two pp. You both have only one pp, to evolve one pokemon.
Second, do you guys realise how hard it is to keep track of EXP? FRACKING HARD!!!

I just looked over the system, and it's a bit complicated for the time being... Mostly because it really requires keeping track of everything in profiles and stuff. I might bring it up again later as the site evolves. Also, really? I was under the impression that at 20 posts, you got 1 PP, which let you evolve two Pokemon. So did Tressa, I think. We must've read the rules wrong, I guess ;

Your right Roku, 0 pokepoints=1 evoled, then 1 pokepoint=2 evolved.

Okay:
20 posts = 1 pokepoint 100 posts = 1 pokepoint 150 = 1 pokepoint 200 = 1 pokepoint 250 = 1 pokepoint
Every 100 posts after that = 1 pokepoint
0 pokepoints = 1 evolved pokemon 2 = 2 evolved pokemon 4 = 3 evolved pokemon 5 = 4 evolved pokemon 6 = 6 evolved pokemon

Therefore, at 250 posts, you'd have 5 pokepoints and be able to have 5 pokemon evolved.
